Kwiatkowski helped lead Texas to a big win over rival Texas A&M in College Station on Saturday night. The Longhorns beat A&M 17-7, but the only points from the Aggies came on the defensive side of the ball via a pick-6.
Kwiatkowski’s defense limited A&M to just 4.4 yards per play and secured a couple of red zone stops, including a game-sealing goal line stand late in the 4th quarter. That victory was enough to finish off an 11-1 regular season and send the Longhorns to the SEC Championship Game.
Similarly at South Carolina, White helped guide the Gamecocks to a 17-14 win over rival Clemson on Saturday afternoon in Death Valley. The Gamecocks forced a turnover the final minute to help secure that win — and give themselves a chance to potentially reach the College Football Playoff.
The next CFP rankings will be updated on Tuesday evening.
