Kirk Herbstreit has named his top-performing teams from Week 12, and a trio of SEC programs made the cut.
Georgia, Florida and South Carolina were all recognized out of the SEC. Elsewhere, Herbstreit named Kansas, Arizona State, New Mexico and Stanford to his list for Week 12:

Georgia earned a much-needed win over Tennessee on Saturday. The Bulldogs likely had to win that game in order to stay alive in the College Football Playoff race, which they ultimately did. UGA and the Vols were tied going into the break, but Tennessee did not score in the second half of UGA’s 31-17 victory.
Florida slots in at No. 4 on Herbstreit’s list after crushing LSU on Saturday in The Swamp. It was a huge win for the Gators, who now have a path to bowl eligibility despite facing arguably the toughest schedule in the country this season.
South Carolina won again on Saturday in dramatic fashion, beating Mizzou thanks to a last-minute touchdown by Rocket Sanders. The Gamecocks also averaged over 7 yards per play for the third game in a row as their offense continues to impress alongside a dominant defense.
