Kirk Herbstreit’s list of top performers from Week 4 of the college football season features 2 SEC players and a former SEC quarterback.

Among those to be recognized was Tennessee’s Hendon Hooker, who had a huge game in a 38-33 win over Florida on Saturday.

The senior quarterback passed for 349 yards, rushed for 112 yards, and accounted for 3 touchdowns in the victory.

Also representing the SEC was Texas A&M linebacker Chris Russell Jr.

The 6-2, 235-pound senior had 10 tackles, a sack, and a forced fumble in the Aggies’ 23-21 victory over Arkansas.

SEC fans, of course, will also recognize the name Bo Nix.

The former Auburn quarterback who’s now at Oregon passed for 428 yards and 3 touchdowns in the Ducks’ come-from-behind win over Washington State.

Topping Herbstreit’s list for Week 4 was Kansas State quarterback Adrian Martinez. He piled up nearly 400 yards of total offense and 5 TDs in an upset win over then-No. 6 Oklahoma.
