Kirk Herbstreit names 2 SEC teams, 2 SEC standouts among his performances of the week

Two of the most-surprising results in the SEC this week were LSU dismantling Georgia and Tennessee pulling off an upset at Auburn.
Now, both teams are earning a lot of love this week, and ESPN’s Kirk Herbstreit is the latest to offer his praise to both squads.
As you can see below, LSU was his No. 1 team performance, with Tennessee checking in at No. 5. Then, Tennessee QB Jarrett Guarantano was the No. 3 player of the week, followed by the entire LSU defense at No. 4:

We’ll have to see how both teams fare this weekend, as Tennessee takes on Alabama and LSU hosts Mississippi State.
For now, though, it’s a good time to be a fan of the Tigers and Vols.
