Kirk Herbstreit released his list of top players for Week 2 on Monday night.

Herbstreit’s list doesn’t include any current SEC players, but stars from Texas and Oklahoma made the cut.

Texas quarterback Quinn Ewers landed at the top of the list for his performance in Tuscaloosa over the weekend. He helped the Longhorns pull off the upset over Alabama in Week 2 by throwing for 349 yards and 3 touchdowns.

Oklahoma’s Danny Stutsman also made the cut. Stutsman was arguably Oklahoma’s best player in its 28-11 win over LSU. He recorded 17 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss, 1 sack and 1 QB hurry in the victory.

Miami quarterback Tyler Van Dyke, Oregon quarterback Bo Nix, Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders, North Carolina running back Omarion Hampton and Notre Dame tight end Holden Staes round out Herbstreit’s list.

Herbstreit released his top-performing teams and coaches of the week on Monday. He also shared his updated College Football Playoff picture and has 1 SEC program in his top 4.

Herbstreit will be on ESPN again this weekend for College GameDay on Saturday.
