Kirk Herbstreit named his top players of the week and two of those players came from SEC schools, Georgia back-up quarterback Stetson Bennett and Kentucky running back Chris Rodriguez Jr.

Bennett, who was replacing the injured JT Daniels, threw 5 touchdown passes in Georgia’s 56-7 victory Saturday over UAB. Rodriguez helped power the Wildcats to a 35-28 victory over Missouri with 206 yards rushing and 3 touchdowns.

Both of their efforts garnered them Co-SEC Offensive Players of the Week. Here is the rest of Herbstreit’s list:

  • CJ Verdell, RB, Oregon
  • Seth Henigan, QB + Calvin Austin III, WR, Memphis
  • Brennan Armstrong, QB, Virginia
  • Matt Hankins, QB Iowa
