Kirk Herbstreit ranks 3 SEC teams in updated top 6 after Alabama-Georgia game

After another week of college football action, we know who the top 2 teams are. Beyond that, it’s anyone’s guess at who belongs in the College Football Playoff discussion.
Clemson is a juggernaut, and Alabama has proven it is the class of the SEC after a 41-24 win over Georgia on Saturday night.
On Sunday morning, ESPN analyst Kirk Herbstreit took to Twitter to rank his top 4 teams (as well as the 2 teams he has just outside his top 4 Playoff picture right now):

Considering Texas A&M and Georgia’s only losses are to Alabama, Herbstreit clearly thinks it’s not fair to punish the Aggies and Bulldogs for that.
The Big Ten resumes play this coming weekend, so it’s probably a safe bet that Ohio State (and perhaps Penn State?) will leap into these rankings this time next week. We’ll find out next Sunday!
