Tuesday has been a day of bad news for those hoping to see college football this fall.

First, the Big Ten announced it was postponing fall sports until at least the spring. Then, shortly thereafter, the Pac-12 followed suit.

ESPN analyst Kirk Herbstreit joined NFL Live on Tuesday and you can see his reaction to the devastating news below:

“I guess we’re not shocked, right? We’ve been hearing about it the past couple of days,” Herbstreit said. “Disappointed. You really feel bad for so many players, so many coaches. They’re heartbroken. They wanted an opportunity to go out there and play. …

“I think right now, like a lot of college football fans, just kind of devastated by the news.”

Herbstreit’s reaction is probably similar to many football fans’ reactions today. We’ll see if the Big 12, SEC and ACC decide to play or not this fall.
