Kirk Herbstreit and the College GameDay crew are in Montana this week, and to open the show, Rece Davis noted that it’s the coldest show on record. The pregame show will run from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Eastern time at Dyche Field in Bozeman. The forecast says it’ll range from 3 to 15 degrees during the telecast.

So, the analysts were bundled and the heaters and hand warmers were certainly going Saturday morning. Lee Corso also returned to College GameDay Saturday morning after missing several shows in a row recuperating from an illness.

Herbstreit opened the show with an Indiana Jones-like hat and a jacket John Dutton would be proud of while running Montana as the new governor in the famed “Yellowstone” show. Davis also opened the show with a “train station” comment straight from “Yellowstone.”

Herbstreit’s attire had fans flocking to social media with comments. Most of the reaction ranged from Sherlock Holmes and Indiana Jones to Paddington and, finally, “Yellowstone.”
