For ESPN analyst Kirk Herbstreit, the football season presents a number of challenges.

Not only is he a key analyst on College GameDay and a broadcaster of the network’s top game, he also has sons playing high school football in Nashville.

That leads to a lot of sleepless nights over the fall weekends, and now he’s faced with another big problem. Next year, according to FOX 17, his older twin sons will be preferred walk-ons at Clemson, while his younger son remains in high school:

“I’ll have Zak playing [at MBA] as a junior, and Jake and Tye going over to Clemson. We’ll have to cross that bridge when we get to it. These are all really good problems to have,” Herbstreit said Thursday. “My goal is to be there for anything I can be.”

Fortunately for Herbie, the offseason is a long one when it comes to college football, so he has plenty of time to catch up on sleep and spend time with his family.

Will he ditch his Ohio State ties for Clemson next season, though? We’ll have to see when the time comes.
