K’Vion Thunderbird, a 3-star linebacker out of Chicago, included Tennessee on his final 5 list Monday, also announcing a commitment date of Jan. 26 at 5:30 on the 247Sports College Football Recruiting Show.

Tennessee is joined by Colorado, Arizona State, Colorado and Purdue.

The 6-foot-1, 215 pound linebacker out of Kenwood Academy is not only a potential fit for the All-Name team, but he could be an underrated prospect in the Class of 2023. He left out other strong offers from Oregon and Penn State and is rated as the No. 22 player from the state of Illinois and the No. 84 linebacker prospect in the class.

Tennessee is loaded in 2023 LB commitments. Arion Carter, Jalen Smith and Jerimiah Telander have already committed to Tennessee and its No. 8th ranked national class. Adding Thunderbird would be a late cherry on top.
