Lane Kiffin and the Ole Miss Rebels improved to 5-0 on the season Saturday afternoon after defeating No. 7 Kentucky 22-19.

Running back Quinshon Judkins rushed for over 100 yards and a touchdown, while the Rebels defense forced 2 Kentucky turnovers.

Following the game, Kiffin said that Kentucky’s offensive coordinator Rich Scangarello gave the Rebels defense some bulletin board material with his comments this week.

“They rushed him. They were motivated all week by their offensive coordinator saying bring the blitz and we’ll light you up. So, there you go,” Kiffin said.

With the game on the line, Kentucky quarterback Will Levis committed a costly turnover, as he fumbled while attempting a game-winning touchdown pass that Ole Miss recovered to put the game away.

Levis finished 18-of-24 for 220 yards and 2 touchdowns; however, he had 2 costly fumbles in the second half.
