When was the last time your favorite SEC team ran for 300 yards?
SEC teams are running wild against brand-name defenses in 2016.
Texas A&M and Georgia cracked the 300-yard mark this past weekend, marking the fourth consecutive week that at least one SEC team did so against another Power 5 opponent.
Last season, the longest such stretch was just two consecutive weeks. In 2014, it was five consecutive weeks, and in 2013 it was four.
Two weeks ago, LSU ran for 418 yards against Missouri. That’s the SEC’s best effort this season against a Power 5 defense.
Not every SEC team is so fortunate. Two have gone more than a decade since their last 300-yard rushing day against a similar opponent.
