Laura Rutledge has had a change of plans this week. With the SEC Nation crew in Columbia, South Carolina, for the USC vs. Tennessee game, the pregame show host announced that she won’t be attending due to an illness.

“A little update: I’m not great at slowing down but this week my body has forced me to. Unfortunately too sick to make it to SEC Nation but the show is in great hands with @MartySmithESPN. Reese is also sick so she’s taking a break from her picks. Hoping to be back soon,” Rutledge tweeted.

Of course, Marty Smith, who hosts a 9 a.m. ET show with Ryan McGee, will do just fine with the crew. Also, Rutledge’s daughter, Reese, who’s become a fixture for her Saturday morning picks, is also under the weather.

Rutledge’s career has taken off the last several years, and she’s blown into one of the most popular and talented ESPN personalities. Rutledge has been seen on several ESPN platforms this season.

Smith and the SEC Nation crew can be seen on the SEC Network at 10 a.m. ET.
