Which SEC school has the best athletic department?

That’s what the Learfield Directors’ Cup standings attempt to find.

Each and every year the final Directors’ Cup standings are released and points are awarded based on each school’s finish in NCAA Championships. The Directors’ Cup is a joint effort between the National Associated of Collegiate Directors of Athletics and USA Today.

Kentucky led the way in the SEC with the No. 5 overall ranking in the country, behind only Stanford, Michigan, North Carolina and Ohio State.

Here’s where every SEC school finished:

#5 Kentucky

#18 Texas A&M

#25 Ole Miss

#31 LSU

#33 Missouri

#48 Tennessee
