Lee Corso is not part of Saturday’s “College GameDay” from Salt Lake City.

“GameDay” opened with a 4-man desk Saturday morning. Host Rece Davis addressed Corso’s absence at the opening of the show. Davis relayed that Corso is not dealing with any health problems, but had a family matter to attend to.

“Lee Corso is not with us this week. I want to reassure you, his health is good. Lee feels fine,” Davis told the audience. “He just had a family matter that required his attention. And we know he’s locked in on the show because he already stole my first superdog pick.”

Corso turned 88 in August. He joined GameDay as an analyst in 1987. The show has gone on the road since 1993. Corso missed multiple shows last year due to health issues.

Saturday’s show is in Salt Lake City for the top-15 showdown between No. 8 Oregon and No. 13 Utah. Davis is joined by Kirk Herbstreit, Desmond Howard and Pat McAfee at the desk with on-site contributions from college football insider Pete Thamel, reporters Jen Lada and Jess Sims and college football betting analyst ‘Stanford Steve’ Coughlin.

Former Utah standout Steve Smith is set to join the show as celebrity guest picker.
