Lee Corso update: Chris Fowler shares message after talking to College GameDay analyst
Lee Corso was unable to take part in Saturday’s “College GameDay,” but it sounds like the ESPN analyst won’t be sidelined for too long.
At the start of “College GameDay” from Clemson, ESPN shared that Corso woke up feeling under the weather. The show went on with a 4-man desk of Rece Davis, Desmond Howard, Pat McAfee and Kirk Herbstreit. They were joined by Clemson great Christian Wilkins for the closing segment, but there was no headgear pick for the No. 5 Clemson vs. No. 10 NC State in Corso’s absence.
Rece Davis has been the host of “College GameDay” since 2015. From 1990 to 2014, Chris Fowler hosted the show. Fowler took to Twitter Saturday afternoon to share an update after talking to Corso.
Fowler detailed that Corso had some tests done after feeling a bit off Saturday morning. Per Fowler, Corso is currently feeling well but disappointed that he was unable to make a headgear pick for the Clemson-NC State game.

Corso, who turned 87 in August, has been with ESPN since 1987. Hopefully, we get to see him back on the road for the Week 6 games.
