LOOK: Bowl game has embarrassingly bad attendance

Saturday is a big day for bowl games. Right now, there are two SEC teams in action: Florida is facing Michigan in the Peach Bowl while South Carolina is taking on Virginia in the Belk Bowl. Later in the day, the College Football Playoff semifinals will take place with Clemson vs. Notre Dame in the Cotton Bowl and Alabama vs. Oklahoma in the Orange Bowl. In addition to those bowl games, there is also the Arizona Bowl, featuring Arkansas State vs. Nevada.

It doesn’t look like many fans felt like traveling to Tucson, Ariz. for the game as the stadium was overwhelmingly empty 20 minutes before kickoff, as seen in the photo below.

For anyone wondering, the game is currently scoreless in the first quarter.
