LOOK: Fans can’t believe undefeated UCF is still ranked below two-loss Michigan
By Adam Spencer
Published:
The UCF Knights lost star QB McKenzie Milton to a devastating knee injury on Friday, but they still managed to win the game against USF.
The same couldn’t be said for Michigan, who got absolutely blown out by Ohio State in Columbus on Saturday. Still, the College Football Playoff committee’s updated rankings have Michigan at No. 7 and UCF at No. 8.
That is absolutely ridiculous to most college football fans, and particularly supporters of the Knights. As you can see below, fans took to Twitter to blast the committee for that questionable decision:
How is UCF ranked lower than Michigan ?
UCF neva lost

Leaving Michigan ahead of UCF built a wall that UCF can't pass. Way to go.

Michigan above UCF is a joke. Idc if Milton is hurt. Michigan got steamrolled by Ohio State and has 2 losses.

UCF behind Michigan is an absurd travesty.

Well, there it is. Michigan is 7, UCF is 8 in the new CFP rankings. Any real hope of UCF making the playoff is over.

#UCF is No. 8 behind a two-loss #Michigan team that allowed 62 points last Saturday. Ridiculous. #CFBPlayoff

UCF behind Michigan. Playoff dreams are truly dead
— Nathan, Chiefs Enjoyer (@NathanGerdts) November 28, 2018
This committee is a joke. LSU at 10? UCF behind Michigan?? Florida 9??
— The GM of College Football (@GrandMasterCFB) November 28, 2018
This seemingly eliminates UCF from Playoff contention, as they’d need to jump four spots to be included in the Playoff field. Anything can happen this weekend, though, so the Knights will need to look dominant in the AAC title game against Memphis.
