We want Spongebob!
That seems to be the big takeaway from Sunday’s Super Bowl LIII halftime show. There were rumors that Maroon 5 would play “Sweet Victory” from Spongebob Squarepants, but that didn’t end up happening.
Otherwise, people had mixed reviews for the Maroon 5, Big Boi and Travis Scott performance, and they took to Twitter to express those opinions.
As you can see below, there were plenty of reactions after the intermission:

Maroon 5’s early albums were great. This halftime show is…bad.

Sorry to add to the countless amount of hate that Maroon 5 is about to get but that was the most boring halftime show I’ve ever seen?

The Patriots and Rams enter the second half with the Pats holding a narrow 3-0 lead. Todd Gurley has been a non-factor in the game so far, but there’s still a long way to go for him and the other SEC stars in the game to make an impact.
