LOOK: Graphic shows the most popular Super Bowl snacks in every SEC state
The Super Bowl between the Rams and Patriots happens Sunday night, and the majority of fans will watch at least some of the game from a party.
Football’s biggest game always revolves around beer and food, and 2019’s will be no different.
Website TheKitchn.com researched Google Trends to see what every state searched for when it comes to food for the Super Bowl, and some of these are just, well, surprising.
Of all the states, Buffalo chicken dip appears to be the most popular, and it indeed is the most popular in the state of Georgia, where the Super Bowl is being hosted. The rest of the SEC states are rather interesting. All of them are quite acceptable, but Mississippi, what are you doing? Granola bars? Can you imagine a Super Bowl party with granola bars?
Paul Finebaum shared TheKitchn.com’s graphic Friday, and it didn’t go over too well:
Oh no Mississippi, what is you doin? #SuperBowl
