Rice may have lost to Texas, 48-13, but its marching band made sure to troll the Longhorns before leaving NRG Stadium in Houston on Saturday.

Back in June, the Longhorns shared on Twitter that they had just achieved their highest semester GPA in team history, and it was a bit lower than some may have expected to earn that honor — 2.89. And while that announcement came a few months ago, the Owls’ band brought the number back to the forefront this past weekend.

During its halftime routine, Rice’s marching band created a “2.89” formation, as seen here courtesy of The Roost on Twitter:

So, while Rice’s football team may have fallen to 0-3 to start the season, at least its marching band gave fans a top-notch troll job.
