Louisiana Tech taunts Florida about Jeff Driskel setting season best in 7 games
Louisiana Tech took a jab at Florida with a tweet during its game Saturday afternoon against Mississippi State, pointing out that with two touchdown passes in the first half quarterback Jeff Driskel has thrown for more TDs in 2015 than he did in each of three full seasons at Florida.
Driskel threw for 212 yards in the first half in Starkville as Louisiana Tech scored 17 points against the Bulldogs.
“Where was this guy the last three seasons?” SEC Network analyst Tony Barnhart said at halftime.
“We knew he was a big-time quarterback coming in,” Mississippi State coach Dan Mullen in his halftime interview.
