The MAC became the first FBS conference to cancel fall sports on Saturday, though others are reportedly considering moving football and other sports to the spring.
Now, it’ll be interesting to see what happens with the top MAC players, and it seems we won’t have to wait long to find out.
Per Yahoo’s Pete Thamel, a MAC assistant coach said that teams have already started talking to the conference’s top players to try to get them to transfer:
Just spoke to a MAC assistant coach. He said that teams have already begun to attempt to poach the top players on their roster. Such is the reality of the MAC's decision. "There's going to be a lot of unintended consequences," he said.

It remains to be seen what, if anything, the NCAA will do if the poaching allegations turn out to be true. But, again, there’s a chance no football gets played this fall.
These are strange times, so we’ll see what happens moving forward.
