Mark Bowman, an elite tight end prospect and a major target of several SEC schools, has decided to reclassify.

The TE released his list of top 12 schools, but Rivals’ Adam Gorney is reporting that Georgia and Texas are the 2 frontrunners as of now. Other schools on Bowman’s list are Ole Miss, Tennessee, Alabama, USC, Arizona State, Miami, Florida, Oregon, and Ohio State.
Bowman stars for Mater Dei High School in Santa Ana, CA. The 247Sports Composite ranking had Bowman as a 4-star prospect, the No. 1 TE, and the No. 2 player out of California in the 2027 class. It remains to be seen how Bowman’s reclassification will affect his rating in the class of 2026.

Bowman’s impressive 2024 season helped his team go 13-0 overall, 5-0 in league play, and end with the No. 1 ranking in all of high school football. Scouts see Bowman as capable of playing as a TE or wide receiver in college.
