On the overall play of the Wildcats:

“Obviously not a very good night. Didn’t play good, didn’t coach good. They were a lot better football team and a lot better coached. That’s one football game we’re not very proud of.”

On how UK will respond to the loss:

“This is a very good football team and when you turn the ball over and play bad on both sides it can get away from you very quickly. There’s not one bit of panic. That’s a very good football team. We’ll go back to work on Monday and be ready to play Tennessee.”

On not being able to get pressure on Dak Prescott:

“They were protecting well and when we did get there he eluded it. They did a nice job moving the pocket. They were one step ahead of us and we were a little out of sync. It was one of those games where we were a little out of sync from the very beginning.  We got to do a better job.”

On matching up with their receivers and Prescott:

“It was hard. (Prescott) has seen everything. Their tempo made it difficult. Some of our freshman corners we wanted to get them experience and I thought they gave us the best opportunity.”

On mistakes and penalties that hurt the team:

“We can’t lose out poise. I got to do a better job of coaching.”
