Michigan defenders draw penalty flag after untying and removing J.K. Dobbins’ shoe

Michigan has had trouble stopping Ohio State RB J.K. Dobbins on Saturday afternoon, as he passed Ezekiel Elliott for No. 2 on the all-time Buckeyes rushing list in the first quarter.
However, a pair of Michigan defenders came up with an unusual solution to slow him down — remove his shoe.
As you can see below, after making a shoestring tackle, the Wolverines literally went after Dobbins’ shoestrings:

That play earned a 15-yard unsportsmanlike conduct penalty, so the Wolverines will have to take that strategy out of their playbook.
Now, it’s back to the drawing board to see if they can figure out a legal way to slow Dobbins down.
