The nation’s No. 1 running back, Zamir White, released his top four teams, and two SEC programs made the cut: Alabama and Georgia.

Surprise, right?

The Laurinburg, North Carolina, native is rated as the No. 3 overall prospect in the class of 2018, according to 247Sports’ Composite Rankings. White is listed at 5-foot-11 and 195 pounds, and he’s the No. 1 player in the state.

White isn’t supposed to wait until National Signing Day to make his decision either; right now, it’s expected in June.

If you remember, former UGA backs Keith Marshall (Raleigh, NC) and Todd Gurley (Tarboro, NC) were both from North Carolina, and the Dawgs have a nice running back pipeline in the state. White visited Georgia this past Saturday for his second visit in three weeks. However, it wouldn’t be a surprise for White to eventually sign with any of the four programs.

He’s a big-time play-maker and looks to be the total package with prototypical size.
