In the world of recruiting, you see something different almost every day.

And this one is certainly different.

The nation’s No. 5 cornerback Lamont Wade is having a commitment after party unlike one we’ve seen. Heck, we haven’t really even seen a public party after a commitment. Wade released the news via Twitter the time and location, but he also had an interesting nugget about a $3 cover charge.

The Clairton, Pennsylvania, native is actually considering an SEC school, too, in Tennessee. However, most figure he’s either headed to Penn State or Pittsburgh.

Wade is rated as the country’s No. 50 overall player in the class of 2017 and the state of Pennsylvania’s No. 2 overall prospect.

No doubt he’s talented on the field, but hosting an after party following a commitment makes him a talent off the field.
