The 2020 NBA Draft has been pushed back to October, which means the top players have to wait longer to have their names called in Round 1.

On Monday, CBS Sports analyst Gary Parrish released his updated first-round mock draft, and he included 5 SEC standouts.

As you can see below, Parrish has Georgia standout Anthony Edwards falling out of the top 2, going to the Timberwolves with the No. 3 overall pick:

  • No. 3 — Anthony Edwards, G, Georgia — Minnesota Timberwolves
  • No. 7 — Isaac Okoro, F, Auburn — Chicago Bulls
  • No. 14 — Aaron Nesmith, F, Vanderbilt — Portland Trail Blazers
  • No. 15 — Tyrese Maxey, G, Kentucky — Orlando Magic
  • No. 20 — Kira Lewis Jr., G, Alabama — Brooklyn Nets

We’ll see how the delay affects SEC players moving forward, but there are a couple of fringe guys who could make it to Round 1 if the NBA Combine is held and they perform well.
