Cleveland staffer appears to wake up Baker Mayfield on the Browns sideline
This is not Baker Mayfield’s finest moment.
Prior to the Browns’ matchup with the Texans on Sunday afternoon, Mayfield appeared to briefly fall asleep on the bench while waiting out a weather delay.
Here’s a clip from the broadcast:

In his defense, that jacket looks incredibly warm and the weather in Cleveland is dreadful.
Luckily for the Browns, Mayfield taking a power nap on the bench didn’t seem to be a bad omen. They’ve led the entire game and are working on a shutout of the Texans late in the fourth quarter.
Mayfield hasn’t been spectacular, but he’s managed the game well enough for the Browns to be up 10-0. So far, he’s 12-of-20 for 132 yards.
A few people on Twitter seemed to notice Mayfield starting to count sheep:
they just woke Baker up from a nap on the bench. I cannot wait for these interceptions lol
