The Senior Bowl is over, and that means it’s time for some mock drafts to be updated.

On Monday, NFL.com’s Bucky Brooks released his first mock draft of the 2021 NFL Draft season, and he included a dozen SEC athletes in the first round.

As you can see below, he has Alabama leading the way with 6 of the 12 SEC players projected to go in the first round:

  • No. 3 — Ja’Marr Chase, WR, LSU — Miami Dolphins
  • No. 6 — Kyle Pitts, TE, Florida — Philadelphia Eagles
  • No. 7 — Jaylen Waddle, WR, Alabama — Detroit Lions
  • No. 9 — Patrick Surtain II, CB, Alabama — Denver Broncos
  • No. 12 — Jaycee Horn, CB, South Carolina — San Francisco 49ers
  • No. 16 — DeVonta Smith, WR, Alabama — Arizona Cardinals
  • No. 18 — Najee Harris, RB, Alabama — Miami Dolphins
  • No. 19 — Mac Jones, QB, Alabama — Washington Football Team
  • No. 22 — Azeez Ojulari, LB, Georgia — Tennessee Titans
  • No. 24 — Nick Bolton, LB, Mizzou — Pittsburgh Steelers
  • No. 25 — Christian Barmore, DL, Alabama — Jacksonville Jaguars
  • No. 32 — Kadarius Toney, WR, Florida — Kansas City Chiefs

There’s still time for guys to improve their draft stocks ahead of April’s draft. We’ll see what happens over the next couple of months.
