NFL.com analyst’s latest 2022 NFL Mock Draft includes 11 SEC stars in Round 1

Now that the Super Bowl is over, attention will fully turn toward the 2022 NFL Draft.
Many analysts are updating their mock drafts, and on Monday, NFL.com analyst Chad Reuter released his first 3-round mock draft of the year.
As you can see below, he had 11 SEC players going in the first round, but only 1 going in the top 10:
- No. 1 — Evan Neal, OL, Alabama — Jacksonville Jaguars
- No. 11 — Matt Corral, QB, Ole Miss — Washington Commanders
- No. 12 — Derek Stingley Jr., CB, LSU — Minnesota Vikings
- No. 13 — Treylon Burks, WR, Arkansas — Cleveland Browns
- No. 15 — Charles Cross, OL, Mississippi State — New Orleans Saints
- No. 17 — Jordan Davis, DL, Georgia — Los Angeles Chargers
- No. 22 — Jameson Williams, WR, Alabama — Las Vegas Raiders
- No. 26 — Nakobe Dean, LB, Georgia — Tennessee Titans
- No. 28 — George Pickens, WR, Georgia — New England Patriots
- No. 30 — Kaiir Elam, CB, Florida — Kansas City Chiefs
- No. 31 — Devonte Wyatt, DL, Georgia — Cincinnati Bengals
In Round 2, Reuter projects 10 SEC standouts to here their names called. He has 9 SEC guys going in Round 3.
