The Southeastern Conference looks to set the standard once again in the upcoming NFL Draft.

That’s the way NFL Media’s Daniel Jeremiah sees it anyway leading up to the 2020 NFL Draft. The longtime draft analyst currently projects 12 former SEC players to be selected in the first round of the upcoming draft with Joe Burrow being selected No. 1 overall to the Bengals.

Leading up to the NFL’s upcoming selection process, there doesn’t seem to be any doubt regarding Burrow’s place at the top of the board but one player that is suddenly being questioned more in recent days than any other seems to be Tua Tagovailoa.

It wasn’t that long ago that Tua was predicted to go No. 3 overall by Mel Kiper Jr. but now the former Crimson Tide quarterback is projected by many to be falling down draft boards.

Jeremiah is the latest to join that movement as he predicts former Oregon QB Justin Herbert to be selected No. 5 overall and Tagovailoa to go No. 6 to the Chargers.

Here is every former SEC player Jeremiah has going in the first round of his latest mock draft over at NFL.com:
