The SEC is expected to once again be well-represented in the upcoming NFL Draft. Most mock drafts expect quarterbacks to be the first few names called off the board before teams start taking wide receivers.

When it’s time for wide receivers to be drafted, expect to former SEC pass-catchers to get called before the others. ESPN NFL Draft analyst Mel Kiper Jr. recently shared his top 10 wide receivers in the draft and former SEC standouts occupy the top six spots while former Auburn WR Anthony Schwartz checks in at No. 9.

DeVonta Smith vs. Ja’Marr Chase has been one of the hotter pre-draft debates. Kiper is siding with the Heisman Trophy winner as his top wideout prospect.

Here’s Kiper’s full list:

  1. DeVonta Smith, Alabama
  2. Ja’Marr Chase, LSU
  3. Jaylen Waddle, Alabama
  4. Kadarius Toney, Florida
  5. Elijah Moore, Ole Miss
  6. Terrace Marshall Jr., LSU
  7. Tutu Atwell, Louisville
  8. Rashod Batement, Minnesota
  9. Anthony Schwartz, Auburn
  10. Amari Rodgers, Clemson

We’ll find out later this month if teams have the same wideout rankings as Kiper.
