ESPN’s selection for new NFL Draft host not going over very well with fans

If fans thought they missed Trey Wingo’s coverage at ESPN the last few months, just wait until late April when the 2021 NFL Draft rolls around.
Wingo did an outstanding job hosting the NFL Draft for ESPN in recent seasons but after the network parted way with the host after 23 years in Bristol, a new host for the draft needed to be selected.
According to Andrew Marchand of the New York Post, ESPN has selected Mike Greenberg to host the 2021 NFL Draft. Greenberg will reportedly host the first two days of the event for ESPN.
This adds to Greenberg’s growing duties at ESPN, which include hosting morning show Get Up and his radio show Greeny. ESPN has also made Greenberg the host of ESPN+ program Bettor Days with Mike Greenberg.
Based on the reaction that’s come flying in following this news, ESPN could not have made a worse selection.
ESPN forces Mike Greenberg down our throats almost as much as Stephen A but you don’t hear about it nearly as much and we know why https://t.co/R5VjzRfFnQ

ESPN is gonna lay off employees until Mike Greenberg is the only person left at the company. Even the CEO will lay himself off, leaving only Mike Greenberg at ESPN https://t.co/5IJeTGhQgp

Is this a joke??????? Mike Greenberg is talking gasbag who talks way too much and look what he did to his longtime former partner Mike Golic. Why not Suzy Kolber, Samantha Ponder or Laura Rutledge? I has lost my respect for ESPN. Mike Greenberg is not the right man for this job. https://t.co/IXwKCEeGdh

Good lord. What dirt does Greeny have on ESPN executives? It’s the only explanation for the overabundance of him on that network anymore.

Haven't watched ESPN's coverage for years. This just assures the streak will continue.
