If fans thought they missed Trey Wingo’s coverage at ESPN the last few months, just wait until late April when the 2021 NFL Draft rolls around.

Wingo did an outstanding job hosting the NFL Draft for ESPN in recent seasons but after the network parted way with the host after 23 years in Bristol, a new host for the draft needed to be selected.

According to Andrew Marchand of the New York Post, ESPN has selected Mike Greenberg to host the 2021 NFL Draft. Greenberg will reportedly host the first two days of the event for ESPN.

This adds to Greenberg’s growing duties at ESPN, which include hosting morning show Get Up and his radio show Greeny. ESPN has also made Greenberg the host of ESPN+ program Bettor Days with Mike Greenberg.

Based on the reaction that’s come flying in following this news, ESPN could not have made a worse selection.
