Nick Saban explains why Jalen Milroe, Garrett Nussmeier should have 'point guard mentality'

Alabama travels to LSU for a battle that may decide a Playoff spot when it’s all said and done. The Tide or Tigers, both with 2 losses on the season, would essentially be eliminated from contention with a loss Saturday night.
Nick Saban has a particular tie to this matchup. The legendary football coach turned College GameDay host won a national championship at LSU before winning 6 at Alabama – so he knows a thing or 2 about both programs.
On Saturday Saban evaluated the QBs for both programs. Jalen Milroe for Alabama and Garrett Nussmeier for LSU are both capable quarterbacks and have shown flashes of brilliance this season, but there’s still been something missing. According to Saban, they are a little too focused with making big plays rather than making the right plays.
Saban likened it to being a shooting guard versus a point guard. A quarterback should always strive to be the latter – protect the ball and truly lead the team each and every play.
