SEC fans should be prepared to hear a lot about Arch Manning over the next couple of years.

In August, Manning was named the No. 1 quarterback and No. 5 prospect overall in the 2023 recruiting class by 247Sports. The SEC legacy is starting to demonstrate why he’s such an elite prospect.

Manning is on fire in the first game of his sophomore season. Manning has already tossed four touchdowns in Newman’s 2020 season-opener. Thanks to Twitter there are videos available of multiple Manning TD passes:

Last month, Cooper Manning noted recruiters have realized Arch is in no rush:

“There’s genuinely no update (on his recruitment),” Manning said. “He’s played one football season, and he’s looking forward to playing his sophomore year.

“I think all of the recruiters have recognized that he’s not requiring any maintenance or even really being recruited right now. I think they realize he just wants to play his sophomore year and worry about that later. … He’s just a kid who wants to be a 10th grader and out of the limelight as best as he can. Obviously, considering the situation, that’s difficult, but he just wants to play. He’s excited about his brother being on the same team as him.”
