As if the Michigan Wolverines needed any more pressure to succeed on the field this season, it was announced on Tuesday that Amazon will release a documentary series about the team’s 2017 season.

The series, which will debut in January, will give fans a behind-the-scenes look at the Michigan program, led by coach Jim Harbaugh.

Already off to a 2-0 start, with wins over Florida and Cincinnati, Harbaugh said he and his players welcome judgement and can’t wait to showcase their 2017 season, per a release from the school:

“We are proud to partner with Amazon Prime Video in documenting our University of Michigan student-athletes’ daily experiences and the lifelong lessons learned both on the football field and in the classroom,” said Harbaugh. “We welcome judgment! We embrace this opportunity to showcase our 2017 University of Michigan football team to a vast audience around the world.”

The Amazon crew will have access to practices, classes, games and more to fully document the 2017 season.

Now, the pressure is on the Wolverines to make it a season worth remembering. And, for SEC fans, it may be interesting to see how many jabs Harbaugh takes at the conference.

One thing is for sure, though — Amazon Prime memberships are probably going to skyrocket in the Ann Arbor area over the coming weeks.
