As transfer quarterbacks go this cycle, former Houston QB D’Eriq King is at the top of the list. But he reportedly has not settled on a new school, though it was reported that he was set to join the Miami Hurricanes.

Mark Berman of FOX-26 reported that King told him that he has yet to make a final decision on where he’s going: “I haven’t committed to anybody yet. I’m still looking at my options. I visited Miami. I liked it, but there are other options I’m still trying see to..”

King has had an up-and-down last few months after reports of his transfer followed him denying those reports in September. Now he’s on the market again.

King passed for 663 yards and six touchdowns in the first four games of 2019 before he sat out to preserve a redshirt season.

It’s unclear how many teams are in the mix, but it appears, based on reports and his comments, that it’s at least Miami, Arkansas and LSU. However, former Florida QB Feleipe Franks is also in the mix for Sam Pittman’s Razorbacks.
