If you haven’t seen it by now, Alabama tailback Kenyan Drake suffered a gruesome injury to his left ankle on an awkward hit in the first half of Saturday’s game against Ole Miss.

What most fans did not see, however, was Ole Miss defensive back Trae Elston kicking his leg at Drake immediately after the play.

It did not appear as though Elston made contact with Drake, and many have defended Elston by explaining the kick as actually aimed at the ball on the ground, and not at Drake. The alleged kick came almost immediately after Drake hit the ground, and Elston may not have even seen the damage done to Drake’s ankle on the tackle.

Take a look at the video, and decide for yourself whether the kick was a dirty play or just misunderstood.
