Since Week 1 of the 2008 season, if Alabama rushes for 140 yards or more, it wins 95.3 percent of the time.

The Crimson Tide are 81-4 when hitting that mark over the last eight-plus years, as their seemingly continuous control at the line of scrimmage has allowed them to win four national championships and produce two Heisman-winning running backs while building a clear dynasty in the SEC West.

But there has been one team to give Alabama issues, even when it finds success running the ball: Ole Miss.

Last season the Rebels surrendered 215 yards to the Alabama backfield and 168 the year before that. Through two games in 2016, Alabama has averaged 183 rushing yards (No. 62 nationally), while Ole Miss’ defense has struggled, allowing 197 (No. 103).
