Ole Miss’ social media team had some Thanksgiving-themed fun at Mississippi State’s expense on Thursday night.

Facing a 10-point deficit with 6:37 remaining on Thursday night, the Bulldogs had a chance to cut into the Rebels’ lead with a 50-yard field goal attempt. Kyle Ferrie’s try was on-line, but doinked off the cross bar and fell short.

Ole Miss referred to the field goal try as “slightly undercooked”

Here’s video of the doink:

That was Ferrie’s second missed field goal of the night. He also missed a 42-yard try at the end of the first half that would have tied the game going into the break.

Ole Miss is looking to avenge its loss from last season to the Bulldogs in Oxford. The Rebels can also clinch a 10-win season with a victory over their arch rivals on Thursday night in Starkville.

Ole Miss is 64-47-6 all-time in this series.
