Ole Miss and Florida are both finalists for Perry, as are Kansas State and Texas Tech. Perry was also considering Arkansas and Alabama, but he cancelled his visit to Tuscaloosa and Arkansas seems to now be out of the picture. The Razorbacks have already added 5 players from the transfer portal.

Both Florida and Ole Miss offer interesting landing spots for Perry. The Rebels are looking to rebuild with Chris Beard at the helm of the program while Todd Golden and the Gators have already added some strong talent in the portal that could compliment Perry well.

And Perry, to his part, is an incredible college player. He averaged 17.3 points per game last season, adding 3.4 rebounds per game in the process. He can score at all 3 levels and is a good defensive player. That’ll come with playing 4 years in college basketball at a good mid-major program such as North Texas.

With the help of Perry, North Texas blitzed through the NIT field, winning the NIT Title game over UAB.
