One of Tennessee’s top-ranked recruits in the Class of 2024 is down to 6 schools.

Nashville (Tenn.) Lipscomb Academy’s Edwin Spillman holds more than 2 dozen Power 5 offers and is ranked as the No. 3 recruit from the state of Tennessee this cycle. Georgia and Tennessee landed in his Top 6 on Thursday, as did Ohio State, Florida State, UAB, and Oklahoma.

Spillman has lined up in the slot in coverage and rushed the passer off the edge for the Mustangs. As a junior, he recorded 101 tackles, 14.5 tackles for loss, 6 pass breakups, and 2 sacks.

The 6-foot-1, 216-pound Spillman is the younger brother of Nate Spillman, a Tennessee signee from the 2023 class. He’s also teammates with Kaleb Beasley, a 4-star 2024 defensive back commit for the Vols. 247Sports’ Steve Wiltfong has already put in a Crystal Ball prediction for the younger Spillman to follow his brother to Knoxville.

In the industry-generated 247 Composite, Spillman ranks as the No. 22 linebacker in the class and the No. 245 overall recruit. You can view his highlight tape below, via Hudl:
