Last week, news broke that an Alabama high school football player was brutally hazed by his teammates, resulting in a broken arm.

The disturbing video can be seen here, and now the parents of the student who was attacked — 14-year-old Rodney Kim Jr. — are suing the district for a whopping $12 million, per AL.com.

The report also states that Kim’s mother, Mary Rayford-Kim, isn’t stopping there, as she wants even more punishment for those involved:

In addition to the money involved, Rayford-Kim also said the family would ask for four specific items:

1.) For Davidson to forfeit all football games in the 2018 season.

2.) For each of the school’s football coaches to be fired.

3.) For all 20 football players involved in the beating to be charged.

4.) For hazing to be banned in all high schools across the nation.

The fourth point is a good idea, as hazing has no place in football these days, but it will be tough to enforce.

For now, though, the district involved in this incident is facing a huge problem if this $12 million case proceeds.
