Pat McAfee took to his show to call out an ESPN employee for “attempting to sabotage” his show by leaking false information to the media prior to intended release.

McAfee specifically called out ESPN executive Norby Williamson for attempting to sabotage his show.

“Now there are some people actively trying to sabotage us from within ESPN,” McAfee said. “More specifically, I believe, Norby Williamson is the guy who is attempting to sabotage our program. I’m not 100% sure. That is just seemingly the only human who has information and then somehow that information gets leaked, and it’s wrong, and then it sets a narrative of what our show is.”

Here’s a clip of McAfee’s full comments:

After years of consistent overall growth for the show via YouTube, McAfee and ESPN agreed to a deal for the network to broadcast the popular radio show on September 7, 2023. The show has run daily for three hours on ESPN, with the final hour being broadcast on ESPN+.

McAfee has also been a regular member of ESPN’s College GameDay in 2023. McAfee has already announced his intentions to be back on GameDay in 2024.
