The SEC title game will take place on Saturday afternoon in Atlanta, and there will be major Playoff implications when the LSU Tigers and Georgia Bulldogs take the field.

LSU will perhaps earn the No. 1 seed with a win, while Georgia needs to win just to make the field of 4 teams.

On Saturday morning’s SportsCenter, SEC Network host Paul Finebaum said he thinks LSU will win, but said he expects the game to be close (via 247Sports):

“I don’t think I’m quite ready to make the (upset) call, but Georgia will have a couple things in their favor, including home-field advantage,” Finebaum said. “I think it’ll be about 70 percent Georgia fans. Whether that matters, who (knows). But the issues are very obvious. They don’t have a lot of weapons. They’ve had some key injuries on the offensive side. One of their best wide receivers will be suspended for the first half … self-inflicted wounds there.

“But their defense is as good as any in the country and Joe Burrow, the presumptive Heisman favorite, has not sen anything quite like this.”

Will Finebaum be proven right? Or, will the Dawgs pull off the upset? Tune in to CBS at 4 p.m. Eastern time to find out.
