Paul Finebaum has an opinion about how the top teams in college football should be ranked, and he’s already released it this week after Week 9 action. But that’s different from what he thinks the College Football Playoff committee will reveal for the first rankings on Tuesday night.

On “The Paul Finebaum Show” on Thursday afternoon, Finebaum revealed what he thinks the CFP committee will do for the first rankings.

But Finebaum’s own rankings compared with his projected CFP rankings reveal that he likely thinks Georgia will win the top 10 matchup in Jacksonville against Florida. Finebaum had Florida at No. 6 in his own rankings, and Georgia below that, but then has the Bulldogs at No. 6 in the post-Week 10 projected CFP rankings, with Florida out of the top 10.

Earlier this week on ESPN’s “First Take,” Finebaum said, “I think Ohio State is the most complete team in the country, I think LSU is next.”

As for Alabama? “Alabama doesn’t have a good win, Stephen A.,” Finebaum said on the show with “Stephen A. Smith on Wednesday. “Their best win of the year was getting you as a speaker back in August.”

Paul Finebaum’s projected CFP rankings:

1. LSU
2. Ohio State
3. Alabama
4. Clemson
5. Penn State
6. Georgia
7. Utah
8. Baylor
9. Oklahoma
10. Minnesota
