Paul Finebaum was impressed with Alabama Saturday night in the 41-24 win over Georgia; however, he has also been impressed with UGA throughout this season, too, and he knows the Bulldogs aren’t going anywhere.

Finebaum joined SportsCenter early Sunday morning to update his top 4 teams in the nation, and he had both Alabama and Georgia ranked in the top 3 following Saturday night’s bout. Clemson remained at No. 1 in his rankings.

Surprisingly, Finebaum ranked BYU at No. 4 over Ohio State and others. The problem for the Cougars isn’t that they’re not a worthy team; the problem is the weak strength of schedule. BYU doesn’t face a ranked team all season, but the Cougars are 5-0. The remaining slate includes Texas State, Western Kentucky, Boise State, North Alabama and San Diego State.

FInebaum broke down his top 4 Sunday morning:

1. Clemson Tigers: “Yeah, Clemson is No. 1, but who are they playing? That’s the question. They go to Notre Dame in a couple weeks, and that will be the ultimate test for them in the regular season.”

2. Alabama Crimson Tide: “I’m staying with Alabama at the No. 2 position for now, but they will play LSU later on and many other good teams on the road and obviously will see Georgia again in the SEC Championship Game.”

3. Georgia Bulldogs: “Yeah, I know they lost (to Alabama) by 17, but they were at Alabama. It was close until the 4th quarter. So, the Dawgs are hanging around, and don’t rule them out with a rematch with Alabama (for the SEC Championship Game) a little bit later on.”

4. BYU Cougars: “Huge win over the Houston Cougars Friday night. BYU has looked really good. Now, do they have the schedule? That’s a big question mark.”
